Recent News!

Steel School has some exciting news to share from the past couple of feiseanna!

BIG congratulations go out to Steel Schools newest OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP dancers, Emma Smalley and Lisa Pasini!!
Emma won her way into Open at the De Danaan Feis and danced her first Open Championship this last weekend at Feile Samhain. Lisa won her way into Open at Feile Samhain.
Congratulations girls!!

More exciting news!
Calleigh McLaughlin just won her first 1st place in Preliminary Championships at Feile Samhain! She is now half way to Open Championships! Only one more first place to go!
Congratulations Calleigh!

And last but not least,
This past weekend, the NAFC Gerry Campbell Perpetual Senior Belt Championship was held at Feile Samhain. This is a very prestigious competition where only Open Championship dancers over the age of 17 can compete only if they have won an Open Championship competition in the last year. It is an honour to be able to compete in this competition, as some of the best dancers in the world will compete for it.
Congratulations to Megan Largy for qualifying to dance in the Senior Belt and representing Steel School so well! Megan Largy is Steel School's first dancer to have competed for the Senior Belt, and we hope to see more Steel School dancers compete for it in the future!
